Season 2: An anime character you wish didn’t die
Although it was necessary for the plot progression and Gene’s acquisition of the Outlaw Star, I wish Hilda didn’t have to die. It made Swanzo so upset, and you could really tell that there was a gap in the anime’s universe left by her death.

Season 1: Saddest anime scene
There’s a really bad scene in Rave Master with Elie. As part of the plot she completely loses her memory and wakes up in a ruins of a building. And then, someone attempts to electrocute her to death… and it’s really quite a horrifying thing. This poor young girl has no idea who she is or what she’s done, and someone’s immediately trying to kill her. It’s so sad.

I really like Hilda’s final scene at the beginning of Outlaw Star. She’s such a badass.

Season 2: A filler episode you actually liked
The Hot Springs episode of Outlaw Star is amazing! It doesn’t open much up in terms of story progression but it does bring in some lore and it’s very funny. It was also banned from Toonami for nudity.

Season 2: Best Anime Family
The MacDougall Brothers from Outlaw Star are pretty amazing. They’re elite bounty hunters, and their care for eachother shines throughout the series although they’re one of the main antagonists. It’s hard not to be heartwarmed by their devotion to eachother.

Season 1: Most annoying anime character
I had to stop watching .hack//sign because Tsukasa was SOOO ANNOYING. Seriously. He’s such a boring dick in the first episode, he’s like “oooh I’m such a loner on an mmo and people keep running into me, they should go away” and it’s the most frustrating, stupid thing ever. I mean sure he has a reasons but he can fuck off really!

Season 2: Coolest anime character who isn’t the main hero
Who couldn’t say Zoro from One Piece? Three swords. All full size. Bounty hunter. Badass. Also has a very cool, distant attitude. He is brilliant.

Season 1: Anime character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)
I won’t compare myself to an anime character, but I will pick one whose positive qualities I think are aspirational. Aisha comes from a very competitive world, and worked her ass off to come top in everything from academics to strength. Her determination and competitiveness lead her to graduate first in her class, which meant she had to serve the empire by going into space. Her loyalty lead her to follow orders unquestionningly until she ran into Gene Starwind, who caused her to lose her rank. Her moral strength and loyalty, which sometimes gets her into trouble, I think are really positive qualities I would love to have in such abundance as she does.

Season 2: Funniest anime you’ve ever seen
POKEMON! Team Rocket are the best comic relief ever! Their back stories and puns and general lack of strategy are always so funny, no matter how repetitive it seems. They are the best.
